Junior Software Developer & IT Support Specialist
I build web and Android applications in Java, Kotlin and PHP, and I have supported live point-of-sale systems in production. Currently an IT Intern at Rectron working across PC hardware and components.
A Junior IT specialist / software developer with hands-on experience in developing web and mobile applications using Java, Kotlin, and Spring Boot. Experienced in full-stack development, API integration, and database management. Fast learner who adapts quickly and enjoys solving complex technical challenges. Passionate about building real solutions for real people.
I tackle IT challenges and create software solutions that deliver results. Whether it's developing applications or resolving complex system issues, my focus is on building tools that simplify workflows for both users and development teams.
I'm continuously expanding my knowledge by exploring emerging technologies, refining development processes, and enhancing my expertise in Java, web development, and DevOps practices. Each project serves as a learning opportunity to improve and evolve.
Effective communication and collaborative problem-solving are fundamental to my approach. I ensure team alignment while maintaining momentum and efficiency throughout the development lifecycle.
I find fulfillment in transforming concepts into functional, practical solutions that people actually use. It's about delivering tangible results, gaining insights from each experience, and continuously improving the work I produce.
TypeScript • Three.js • Vite
My room, modelled entirely in code and lit by its own RGB. Every prop is one of my projects — the backlit bookshelf, the battle station, the windowsill, the kitchenette, the nightstand. Click one and the camera dollies in with the case study.
What it proves: hand-built procedural geometry with no imported models, a synced RGB lighting rig across panels, strips, keycaps and PC fans, shadow-mapped dusk lighting, camera choreography, and shareable deep links — not a cloned Three.js solar-system demo.
TypeScript, Three.js, Vite
A dusk-lit gamer bedroom modelled entirely in code, where every prop is a real project: an RGB-backlit bookshelf for TwiceAsBooks, a battle station for the Helpdesk System, a windowsill for BirdTrail, a kitchenette for Thedimogane Gas, a nightstand for MediBook. Click a prop and the camera dollies in.
What it proves: hand-built procedural geometry with no imported models, a synced RGB rig driving hex panels, cove strips, keycaps and PC fans from one hue cycle, soft-shadowed dusk lighting, per-prop hover glow, camera choreography, and hash deep links — crafted for a WebGL interview, not cloned from a Three.js example.
React, TypeScript, Spring Boot, PostgreSQL, JWT, Flyway
An internal IT operations platform for support teams: staff submit tickets, technicians manage work, and IT tracks hardware assets, assignments, and status history. Built as a realistic MVP with role-based login, asset register, ticket workflows, and a troubleshooting knowledge base.
What it proves: full-stack delivery, JWT auth and roles, a controlled ticket workflow, asset assignment rules, and support logic that goes beyond generic CRUD screens. Sign in as technician, admin or staff — the demo runs on seeded data in your browser and enforces the same workflow rules as the Spring Boot backend.
PHP, MySQL, JavaScript
A full-stack bookstore built around both customer and admin workflows. Shoppers can register, search the catalogue, add books to a cart, and place orders, while the admin side manages products, users, orders, and incoming customer enquiries through one PHP/MySQL application.
What it proves: multi-page PHP application structure, MySQL-backed data handling, authentication, cart and checkout logic, and an operations side that goes beyond a simple product listing site.
Java, Spring Boot, Spring Security, JPA, Thymeleaf, Gemini API
A team-built hospital booking platform with clear role separation. Spring Security handles access across patient, doctor, and admin areas; JPA models appointments, medications, users, and feedback; and the system includes password resets over email plus an AI recommendation feature that uses the Gemini API to guide patients toward the right service.
What it proves: Java backend depth, authentication and authorization, data modelling, server-rendered application structure, and feature scope beyond a basic CRUD system. 31 classes across config, controllers, entities, repositories and services — all browsable, with setup instructions in the README.
Kotlin, Firebase, Google Maps API
An Android field app for birdwatchers. I used Firebase Authentication for sign-in, Google Maps for sanctuary discovery, and Firebase Storage plus Realtime Database for photo-backed sightings. The app then turns those records into a RecyclerView history and a small achievement system that rewards continued use.
What it proves: mobile state handling, image upload flows, location-aware features, Firebase integration, and a complete user journey from registration to recorded sightings.
HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Netlify
A live ordering site for a real LPG supplier serving Norkem Park and nearby areas. Customers compare cylinder sizes and refill prices, confirm delivery areas, and place orders directly through WhatsApp.
What it proves: a working public deployment, business pricing tables, delivery-zone guidance, and a mobile-first flow optimized for fast ordering.
